**6/20 UPDATE**
Repaving the Parking Lot
Due to the storms on Friday, 6/16, the paving contractors were delayed in starting the repaving project on Monday, 6/19. They completed the paving today, Tuesday 6/20, but still need to stripe the parking lot; they were unable to stripe the parking lot due to rain. Now, due to the forecast for the next several days, there is a chance that the striping may not occur until Saturday, 6/24.
If you have a vehicle with a current, King & Queen Apartments parking decal, keep your vehicle parked at the Williamsburg Baptist Church until further notice. If there is a chance the paving company can stripe the parking lot before Saturday they will, and you will be notified when you can bring your vehicle back to the King & Queen Apartments parking lot.

Dumpster Removal
The dumpster will be set back to its previous location on Friday, 6/23.
Summers are always a busy time of year at King & Queen Apartments – residents move in/out (aka ‘apartment turnover’), and major improvements (aka ‘cap ex projects’) to the property occur. One of the major cap ex projects this summer is the repaving and restriping the parking lot.
The paving company will begin working on repaving the parking lot starting in the early morning of Monday, June 19th. They will be completing the job on either Tuesday the 20th or Wednesday the 21st, depending on weather. Additionally, the trash dumpster must be removed to successfully repave the parking lot.
Please take note of the following regarding the dumpster and repaving of the parking lot:
Dumpster Removal
The dumpster will be removed Friday morning (June 16th) and it will not return in its place until the following Friday, June 23rd. If you are currently living at your apartment, please remove any and all trash from your apartment and put it into the dumpster ASAP. Once the dumpster is removed, there will not be a place for you to put your trash until Friday, June 23rd.
Repaving the Parking Lot
All vehicles must be moved from the King & Queen Apartments parking lot on Sunday, June 18th.
The pavers will be at the property early morning of Monday, June 19th. Repaving and restriping will continue on Tuesday the 20th and Wednesday the 21st, as needed, depending on weather.
Residents who have vehicles with a current, King & Queen Apartments parking decal can park their vehicle at Williamsburg Baptist Church’s parking lot (2 doors down – short walk on Scotland St and Prince George St). Please park there after 1pm on Sunday, June 18th. See image below showing the church parking lot and proximity to King & Queen Apartments.

Only vehicles that have a current, King & Queen Apartments parking decal can park in the Williamsburg Baptist Church parking lot during this time. Unauthorized vehicles parked there are subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.
**PLEASE NOTE** If your vehicle is still parked in the King & Queen Apartments parking lot on Monday morning, or any day before the parking lot repaving and restriping is complete, it will be moved by a towing company to the Williamsburg Baptist Church parking lot and you will be charged the cost to move it.
