Heat will be turned on October 23rd

🍁 Fall Is Here and Winter’s on the Way!

Since the weather has cooled down, we’ll be switching over from central air-conditioning to heat.

Here’s what to expect:

  • The central air-conditioning system will be turned off on Wednesday, October 22nd.

  • The main heating system will be turned on Thursday, October 23rd.

Once the heating system is on, that just means warm air will be available — heat doesn’t automatically start blowing in your apartment. You’ll need to turn it on when you’re ready for some warmth.

🔧 How to Turn On the Heat in Your Apartment

  1. Find your thermostat — it’s on the living room wall above the large return panel.

  2. Flip down the bottom cover to see the controls.thermostat

  3. Set the FAN switch to “AUTO” (not “ON”).

  4. Set the SYSTEM switch to “HEAT.”

  5. Close the cover.

  6. The number on the left shows your current room temperature, and the number on the right is your desired temperature.

  7. Use the arrow buttons to choose your perfect comfort level.

Once your apartment temperature drops below your set temperature, the system will automatically turn on and warm things up.

💡 Pro tip: If the FAN switch is set to “ON,” hot air will blow continuously — keeping it on “AUTO” will be more comfortable and energy-efficient.
